From the minute you walk in the door, the friendly staff makes you feel very comfortable. To be honest I was scared of the procedure, but every member of the staff was very kind, caring, and professional. Dr Ting walked me through each step of the process so I wouldn’t feel anxious or nervous and he eased my anxiety the whole time. I definitely recommend him and his team to anyone.

I had an extraction and root graft performed by Dr. Vajda The procedure took less than an hour from start to finish and I once anesthetized I never experienced any pain. I was sent home with thorough instructions(verbal and written) along with material for my post extraction recovery. I followed the instructions exactly. During the entire process I never felt any pain or other discomfort. I woke up the next morning pain-free and with minimal swelling. I will continue the instructions for the next 24-hours. I can’t say enough about Dr. Vajda and the four nurses that assisted him, while caring for me and keeping me comfortable. Santa Monica Center for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants is outstandingly patient friendly, well organized and patient centered.

“Exceptional” – comes to mind when I think about my experience at the Santa Monica Center for Oral and Dental implants. I needed an emergency tooth extraction and implant. My name got called immediately after checking in. The office is squeaky clean and the views over Santa Monica were a nice extra. Gil B. Ivry and his team explained what my options were, gave me a rundown of the procedure and answered all of my questions. The actual procedure took no longer than 20 minutes and was completely painless! On my way out I asked the receptionist for a breakdown of the cost and instead of just giving me the bill, she looked up my insurance and did the math to see how much I actually would have to pay. The total time spent at the office was about an hour. Later that night the doctor called me to see how I was doing and told me that they have a doctor on call just in case I have any questions or concerns. Really going above and beyond!

Before & After Photos

Are you a candidate for Dental Implants?

Dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. With implants, you can rediscover the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh, and enjoy life. Implants are expected to last for a lifetime, don’t decay and won’t affect your surrounding teeth.

Who should consider a dental implant?

According to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, 69% of adults around the ages of 35 to 44 have lost at least one permanent tooth. For those missing teeth, or needing teeth replaced, there are three cosmetic options to fix the problem—dentures, bridges and implants. Though dentures and bridges used to be the go-to replacements for tooth loss, modern technology has made dental implants an increasingly popular choice. Around 3 million people get implants each year, which is a total of 5.5 million implants, according to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Are Dental Implants affordable?

Understanding the costs and available financing

The cost of dental implants varies for each individual person as no two mouths are the same. When reviewing and comparing costs, it’s important to consider that dental implants are “medical devices” which require a larger team of dental professionals and that the placement of dental implants is both art and science. You are, in fact, buying a service rather than a product – a service that can change your life and give you permanent teeth that will last a lifetime.

Santa Monica Center for Oral Surgery & Dental Implants also has multiple financing options to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted! We’re more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding insurance and financing options.

The best way to get an accurate idea of what your dental implants will cost is to come in for a consultation with our treatment coordinators and surgeons.

What are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root, typically a titanium screw, that is placed into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth or a bridge or denture to restore multiple missing teeth.
